Lynn R. Heath, born April 14, 1949 in Rockford, IL passed away after a long battle with cancer on February 12, 2019 in Orange County, CA. During her 69 years, she lived a life of adventure and entrepreneurship. She valued her family and dearest friends above all else and was surrounded by love until the very end. Lyn will be profoundly remembered. Lynn is pre-deceased by her father, Richard Heath, and her mother Betty Jane Jones. Lynn is survived by her only daughter, Tiffney Heath, and her grandson Taylor Heath of Prescott, AZ. Tiffney remembers her mother as adventurous and infectious, and takes comfort that her mother is joining her grandfather. She is survived by her siblings, Carol Whitbeck Young of Roseburg, OR; Russell Gridley of Signal Hill, CA; Cindy Draper-Stokstad of Rockford, IL; Ricci Heath of Keizer, OR; Betsy Foshe of Pecatonica, IL and D. Jay Heath of Long Beach, CA. In life, Lynn was an active member of the Sierra Club and Leisure World, where she made many friends. She leaves behind Mel Locket, Teresa Davies, Barbara Creighton, Silvia Craig, Lorraine Akkris, and Ron Swart, all of whom will miss her beyond description that words can provide. Lynn lived a life of adventure and her accomplishments include, climbing Mount Everest, the Himalayas, Swiss Alps, and Mount Kilimanjaro- to name a few. She also walked the Great Wall of China and the El Camino Trail in Spain. Beyond this she was involved with Theatre at Leisure World, where she lived. Her life and travels allowed her to make peace with God. She was an entrepreneur who owned her own plaster crafts business- Heath in Crafts.
