It is with very heavy hearts we share the news that Suzanne Dyer, loving wife and mother, passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2019. Born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on August 2, 1947, Suzanne was the first child of Frank Sr. and Gretchen Leasure. Suzanne is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Dyer, daughters Lisa Dodson & Heather Dodson, brother Frank "Ferb" Leasure, sister Cindy Burleigh, stepson Steve Dyer, stepdaughter Susan Hupe, as well as 2 grandchildren. In addition to Grand Rapids, Michigan, Suzanne also resided in Cherokee, Iowa; Scottsdale, Arizona; Fremont, California; and Irvine, California. While living in Fremont for two decades, Suzanne attended and graduated from both Ohlone College and Cal State Hayward. After moving to Irvine in 1993, she enjoyed long careers with Volt Workforce Solutions and B. Braun Medical, Inc. A couple months prior to her passing, she started a new job with Children and Family Futures, a national nonprofit organization. She was very excited to be a part of this nonprofit and had a renewed excitement and zest for her career. Suzanne is dearly missed by her family, friends, and coworkers. The family is hosting a private celebration of life in Irvine on April 27, 2019 in her honor. Should friends desire, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in her name be made to one of Suzannes favorite organizations - Shadowland Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to educating children of all ages about wolves & their contribution to the environment. This organization, their passion, and mission were very close to her heart: http://www.shadowlandfoundation.org/donate2.html If you wish to contact her family directly, please feel free to do so anytime: Lisa Dodson: Lisa.dodson@hotmail.com Phone: 925-597-1718 Heather Dodson: hldodson@live.com Rick Dyer: rdyersdyer@sbcglobal.net Funeral Home: Pacific Cremation Society 22772 Centre Drive, Suite 130 Lake Forest, CA 92630
