Barbara Mc Shane

Barbara J. McShane, "Babs", "Barby" Age 69, Irvine, CA. Saturday December 16, 2017 Barbara passed away of natural causes in her sleep. She was born March 6, 1948 on Long Island, New York and moved to sunny Orange County, California in 1960, where she immediately became a beach bunny. She loved the sun, the beach and the water and her favorite place to be in the summer was on the sand getting some rays. Anyone who knew her was welcome at the McShane household, as she loved entertaining and being surrounded by her family and friends. Her smile could light up a room and she was always the life of every party. Babs was an avid lover of all animals, especially dogs, and could often be seen doing her daily jog with the family dog around the neighborhood. Barbara is survived by her husband Jim McShane of 31 years, her son Michael John McShane, her daughter Erica Stephanie Anderson (of her first marriage), and her sister Peggy McClintick, as well as many nieces, nephews and all her "kidlets" from over the years. Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 23 from 11am-3pm at the American Legion in Newport Beach, California, a place she loved and where many memories were made.
