Billy "Bill" Bruce Fisher, born on August 12, 1947, in Muncie, IN, passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 77, in Laguna Hills, CA, was a 50-year resident of Franklin Lakes, NJ in Bergan County. Bill was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, known for his generous spirit and dedication to his family and business.
Bill served honorably in the National Guard, where he applied his skills and dedication to serve his country with distinction. Following his military service, Bill embarked on a successful entrepreneurial journey, founding the Regency Car Wash & Quality Lube. His business acumen led Regency to set national records for the volume of cars washed, a testament to his knack for building and sustaining a thriving business.
An alumnus of RIT, Bill valued education and encouraged those around him to pursue their academic goals with vigor. In his leisure time, Bill was an accomplished skier, water skier, and tennis player, known for his deft form and grace. His greatest passion was racing Go-Karts internationally with his sons, Brian and Brad. Together, they won multiple national championships and competed in world championship races across Europe.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Rosanne Fisher; sons, William "Brian" Fisher and Bradley Fisher; daughters-in-law, Leilani Fisher and Lina Fisher; and grandchildren, Sloan, Bruce, Sebastian, and Nicolas Fisher. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ural and Mary Fisher.
A celebration of life and service will be held on Friday, October 18th on the Paradiso Yacht. This sunset cruise will be launching from Newport Harbor at 4:00pm sharp. Bill's legacy of kindness, integrity, and entrepreneurial spirit will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
