With broken hearts and deep love, we remember Blair Catherine Lindsly, born in Santa Monica on September 27, 1982. Blair was a bright light that refused to be dimmed — a woman whose humor could wake up the quietest room and whose presence somehow made everything more interesting, louder, and significantly more entertaining.
She is survived by her mother, Patty Lindsly; her father, Chuck Lindsly; her brother, Tyler Lindsly; and a wide circle of friends and extended family who were lucky enough to be claimed by her.
Blair was funny in a way that caught you off guard. She was goofy in the most endearing ways and kind beyond measure. She had a rare gift: making people feel instantly like family. To be around Blair was to feel seen, protected, teased a little, and loved a lot. She truly never met a stranger — and if she did, they wouldn’t stay a stranger for very long.
She proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, which strengthened the courage, resilience, and loyalty that already lived inside her. Once you were in Blair’s heart, you were there for life. No exceptions. No returns.
Blair adored her hometown of “Gundo” — El Segundo — and carried it with pride wherever she went. It wasn’t just where she was from; it was part of her identity. The beach air, the familiarity, the stories, the people — it all shaped her. Gundo wasn’t just home. It was her heart.
Her life was not defined by her struggles, but by her fierce love, her relentless spirit, and her ability to laugh — loudly — even when things were hard. She was beautifully nosey, unapologetic, mischievous, complicated, loyal, and fully human in the most honest way. She kept track of everything and everyone. I know Blair is absolutely here with us now, she would never miss what’s being said at her memorial — because Blair needed to know.
Her life was tragically cut short, leaving shock and sadness that words cannot fully capture. But even in our grief, we choose to remember the holidays wrapped in laughter, the stories that will be retold forever, the joy she brought into rooms, and the love she gave without hesitation.
The imprint she leaves on our hearts is permanent. We will carry her humor, her boldness, and her unforgettable spirit with us always.
And if something goes bump in the night, we’ll know exactly who it is — just checking in.
May she finally rest in the peace she so deeply deserved.
Forever loved beyond words. Never forgotten beyond time.
We love you, Blair Bear — always and forever.
