Bonnie Jean Shea

Bonnie Jean Shea. Age 77, of Laguna Niguel, passed away on January 31st, 2022. Bonnie earned multiple masters degrees in teaching and business and taught in the Capistrano Unified school district for over 20 years. She loved her students and fellow teachers as well as spending time with her family (especially at Disneyland). She was an avid traveler, constantly exploring the world. Bonnie is survived by her son, Marc Travis, daughter-in-law, Cathy Chan, two grandchildren, Andy and Brian, as well as her sister, Sherry, and brother-in-law, Phil, and two nieces (Jennifer and Kristin), and nephew (Johnny). She was preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Michael, and her two brothers, Jim and John. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
