It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Dwayne Brown, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, who left us on October 6, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on February 22, 1950, in Modesto, California, Don’s life was a rich tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Don was the beloved son of Wayne and Lorraine Brown, who instilled in him the values of hard work, kindness, and the importance of family. These principles guided him throughout his life and shaped the man he became—one who was known for his fun-loving spirit, his infectious laughter, and his ‘never give up’ positive attitude!

For over 45 years, Don dedicated himself to the grocery and food industry, in both management and sales executive positions, where he was admired for his professionalism and commitment. His work ethic and dedication not only contributed to his success but also left a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of working alongside him.

Don found unparalleled joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for fishing, often spending weekends by the water, rod in hand, sharing stories, and creating memories with loved ones. Cooking was another of his cherished hobbies, where he delighted in preparing meals for his family, always ensuring that every gathering was filled with warmth and happiness.

On a beautiful day in Hawaii, Don married the love of his life, Cora Brown. Their bond was a testament to true partnership, filled with respect, love, and unwavering support. Together, they created a nurturing home and a loving family, which became the cornerstone of Don's life.

He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will live on in his family. Don is survived by his devoted wife, Cora Brown; his son, Donald Brown; stepsons Joseph Anderson and Mike Anderson; and daughter-in-laws Alexandra Anderson and Maryika Anderson. He was also a proud grandfather to his two beloved grandchildren, Leo Anderson and Ariya Anderson, who were the lights of his life.

As we remember Don, we celebrate the joy he brought to those around him. He had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, and his laughter was a balm for the soul. He touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.

Don’s journey may have come to an end due to cancer, but his spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved him. We take solace in knowing that he is now at peace, watching over us with that same warm smile.

Rest in peace, Don. Your love, laughter, and legacy will forever be etched in our hearts. We love you.
