Eddy C. Sun

Eddy Sun was a computer engineer and resident of San Diego, California. Eddy passed away peacefully on August 18, 2022 at the age of 74 in Laguna Woods, California after a courageous battle with cancer with his wife Bee and son Steven by his side. Eddy was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on June 30, 1948 to Li Sun and Lan Chang. He graduated from university of Houston in 1976 with a master’s degree in chemical engineer and 1984 with a master’s degree in computer engineering. He worked as computer engineer in navy information warfare center for 37 years. Eddy married Bee-En in 1977 and welcomed son Steven on June 27, 1979. Eddy was a devoted father who love teaching and learning, He enjoyed skiing, reading, traveling, he was fond of math and Science, displaying a wonderful knack for solving problem. Eddy was a simple spiritual man who deeply studied Buddhism and the belief of reincarnation, he was a generous philanthropist. Eddy survived by his wife Bee-En, son Steven, and daughter-in-law Stephanie. His burial at sea service is to be scheduled in September 2022 in Newport Beach, California. Eddy, I love you and you will be missed.
