Edward Thomas Jr.

On 7/25/21, Edward Thomas Jr. (Eddie) passed away with his loving family by his side at UCI Medical Center. He was 63 years old. Eddie was born in Shirley, MA on 9/27/57 to mother Chieno Takimura and father Edward Thomas Sr. His innovative spirit and strong work ethic led him to become an entrepreneur at an early age, eventually partnering with his mother to own and operate High Volume Copy Service for over 40 years. Eddie was married to his beloved wife and best friend Lois Thomas Bradford for over 30 years. The two met in 1980 at a party that Eddie attended with his brother Alec and sister Susan. Eddie and Lois started dating in 1982 and married on 12/21/85. They eventually welcomed their beautiful daughter Vanessa into their lives, his pride and joy. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Eddie. He loved spending quiet evenings at home with his wife and daughter, and he looked forward to spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed music, dancing, and cooking, and he adored his dog, Miko. Some of his favorite things to do were hiking and biking with his daughter Vanessa and fishing and hanging out with his nephew Maurice Bradford and brother-in-law Eddie Bradford. And he always looked forward to his brother Alec's visits (two peas in a pod). If you asked anyone who knew Eddie Thomas, they would tell you that he was devoted to his family and friends. His contagious smile and sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days. He will be greatly missed. Eddie is survived by his wife Lois, daughter Vanessa, mother Chieno Takimura, brothers Alec, Ewao, Mark, and Clarence Thomas, sisters Susan and Mealing Thomas, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
