Jaqueline Mcelroy

October 24, 1963 - September 12, 2018 Jacqueline A. McElroy, wife of Edward J. McElroy, mother of Michael J. Taub (wife Jessica), Edward J. McElroy, II, daughter of Joan Marie Kerr and John P. Hendershott, sister of Michael J. Hendershott, passed away on September 12, 2018. Jackie was a former resident of San Clemente and most recently, Laguna Woods Village. Jackie was born in Garfield Heights, Ohio. She attended The Art Institute of Pittsburgh and worked in the fashion merchandizing industry for a short time. Thereafter, she worked as an Administrative Assistant in the finance industry. She also attended Saddleback College for Interior Design. She had served on the Dana Point Womans Club and Community House Board of Directors. She also served on the Orange District Executive Committee of the California Federation of Womans Clubs. Jackie will be missed by her family and friends. A Mass take place at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Saturday, September 29 at 10:00 a.m., 105 N. La Esperanza, San Clemente 92672. Celebration of Life will follow immediately after at The Dana Point Womans Club at 24642 San Juan Avenue, Dana Point, CA 92629.
