Lois Martha McFeaters, 86, Devoted Mother and Lifelong Steelers Fan

Lois Martha McFeaters passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28th, at the age of 86. Born in Pennsylvania in 1938, she was the daughter of Anton and Martha Odstchel, and was raised with deep-rooted values of perseverance, loyalty, and family.

Lois spent much of her professional life working in the loan industry, where her attention to detail and integrity earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike. She later served as an administrative assistant for the Orange County Fire Authority, supporting those who serve the community with steadfast dedication.

A proud Pennsylvanian at heart, Lois was a lifelong Pittsburgh Steelers fan and never missed a chance to cheer on her team—win or lose. Her spirited loyalty to the black and gold was matched only by her devotion to her family and friends.

She is survived by her loving daughter Lori, her devoted son John, and her cherished partner Richard Porter. She was married to Harry E. McFeaters for 16 years. Lois brought warmth, wisdom, and humor to every gathering, and her presence will be deeply missed.

A private family memorial will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ASPCA in recognition of Lois’s lifelong love for animals. Contributions can be made online at www.aspca.org.
