Mark Allen Sargent

MARK ALLEN SARGENT, of Laguna Niguel, CA, died July 25, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. He was 53. Born in Toledo, Ohio, his family moved to Southern California when Mark was 6 and he grew up in Ventura and Santa Barbara. He graduated from Santa Barbara High, attended Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, and graduated from UCSB. He began his career as a financial advisor starting with WAMU and ending as Senior Vice President/Senior Financial Advisor at WELLS FARGO. Mark was beloved by his work associates and clients. An avid and gifted sportsman from a young age Mark surfed, golfed, and played/taught tennis. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his children, daughter Makenna Sargent, 12, and son, Luke Sargent, 9, of Laguna Niguel, ex-wife Faye Sargent, of Laguna Niguel, mother and stepfather, Jane and Allan Legon, of Arroyo Grande, and brother, Michael Sargent, of Los Angeles, and an Aunt, Uncles, and cousins across the country. A celebration of life is planned for October. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Cancer Society for Colon Cancer research.
