Nancy Lynn Bricker

May 4, 1960 — February 6, 2021

On Saturday, February 6, 2021, Nancy (Starba) Bricker, loving Mother of three and grandmother of four passed away at the age of 60, surrounded by family in Mission Viejo hospital. Nancy was born on May 4, 1960 in North Tonawanda, NY to John and Dorothy (Lukasik) Starba. Nancy loved Sunsets and the beach. She also loved taking long walks and spending time with her family and friends. One of my favorite childhood memories of her was when she decided we were going to change up our dinner routine for the night and go get banana splits and watch the sunset. Nancy gave herself fully to the lord 10 years ago and joined Saddleback Church. Nancy loved her church, and the many outreaches and special events that gave her opportunities to serve. She was part of the volunteer central team and supported the peace plan which assists the poor and cares for the sick. She was dedicated to her bible study group and church family.  Nancy did everything she could to attend her last bible study while in the hospital. We were all very proud of our mother when she graduated from her church counseling training course. Our mother spent everyday devoting herself to serving others in God’s name.  She adored her four grandchildren and loved spending quality time with each of them. She was known for her big heart, infectious smile, and her kind and compassionate spirit. We will truly miss her warmth and love she brought to our everyday lives. We are at peace knowing she will be waiting at the gates of heaven to welcome all her family and friends one day. Nancy was preceded in death by her father, John, and her mother, Dorothy. She is survived by her three children, Natalie (Nick), Alicia (Bryan), and Austin, her four grandchildren, Nathen, Nicole, Nash, and Nixon, her four sisters Bonny, Melinda, Tina, and Diane, her two brothers Robert, Paul and several nieces, and nephews.
