In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann “Pat” Moore
January 30, 1947 – July 24, 2025
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Ann “Pat” Moore, who entered into the eternal presence of her Savior on July 24, 2025, at the age of 78. A resident of Aliso Viejo, California, Pat fought a courageous 20-year battle with cancer. Though she endured great hardship, she is now free from pain, resting peacefully in the arms of her Lord.
Born in Brooklyn, New York on January 30, 1947, Pat was the eldest daughter of Mabel C. Hall and Harry D. Hall. From her earliest days, Pat’s spirit radiated warmth and joy, qualities she carried with her throughout her life.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and soon-to-be great-grandmother, Pat leaves behind a legacy of deep love and faith. She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Arthur H. Moore III; her sons, Arthur “Scooter” Moore IV, Keith Moore, Daughter in-law Jasmine Moore; and her treasured grandchildren, Kiana Moore Davis (husband Sam Davis), Makoa Moore, Imani Moore, and Jocelyn Walters. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother Owen White, sister Cheryl Brown, brother James Faulk Jr, and a host of close “sister” cousins and extended family.
After graduating high school, Pat earned her technical degree as a phlebotomist and worked in the medical field before transitioning into a successful career in sales and marketing. Her time with companies like Procter & Gamble, Kraft Foods, and Acosta reflected her professionalism, charisma, and commitment to excellence.
Pat’s life was marked by a radiant smile, a generous heart, and a deep capacity for compassion. Whether through a shared laugh, a listening ear, or a warm embrace, she had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. She was the light in every room, bringing joy, comfort, and an infectious spirit wherever she went.
Pat cherished time spent with family and friends. She found joy in traveling, fishing, camping, and playing cards; simple pleasures that created lasting memories and deepened lifelong friendships.
More than anything, Pat’s unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of her life. A member of Saddleback Church for nearly two decades, she served faithfully as a greeter for 17 years, a Women’s Bible Study table leader, and a willing heart on mission trips to Jamaica and Rwanda. Even in her final days in the ICU, Pat’s faith remained bold and unshaken; telling all who came to see her that she was walking with God, holding His hand, and experiencing His perfect love.
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.”
— Psalm 73:26
Though we will miss her deeply, we are comforted knowing that Pat is now fully healed and whole, rejoicing in Heaven. Her spirit lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the faith she so beautifully embodied.
We invite family and friends to join us as we celebrate Pat’s remarkable life and legacy.
