Paul J. Mcshane

Paul Joseph McShane, formerly of Orange County, CA., passed peacefully surrounded by family Friday March 17, 2023 on St. Patrick's Day. He was the father to Abigael Portman McShane, Maureen Wintz McShane, and Killian Joseph McShane and was predeceased by his wife Martha Moore McShane.

He was born on December 30, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio and grew up in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended University of South Florida in Tampa, FL., starting in 1981, where he received his Bachelor's degree in Business Management in 1984. He worked at GE in business development for the first 20 years of his career. In 2001, he took the role as president at Design Space Modular Buildings Inc. which he expanded for the next 20 years. A notable and rewarding project of his was spearheading the design and development of Crean Lutheran High School in Irvine, CA.

Paul was passionate about mountain and road biking, skiing, and his family. He was a mentor to his kids and everyone around him, and a natural born leader. Paul also played an integral role in the St. John's Episcopal Church community. He was a philanthropic man and formed the McShane Family Foundation with the mission to raise and direct charitable gifts to organizations that serve the underprivileged, underachieving, neglected, and disadvantaged individuals. He had a specific focus on helping women, children, and veterans.

Paul is survived by his mother, Virginia Wintz, and siblings, Michael McShane, Mary Beth McShane Fagan, Karen McShane, Shannan McShane James, and Brian McShane.

A Celebration of Paul's life will be held at

St. John's Episcopal Church
