Ricky Hernandez

Ricky Hernandez, 63, passed away on May 1st, 2023 after a short illness.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Kyle and husband AJ; his daughters Keely and wife Sheena; and Kara and husband Zach; his parents Joe and Olivia Hernandez; his brothers John and wife Rosie, and Robert; and many nieces and nephews. Ricky also loved dogs, especially the 7 dogs his children currently have.

Ricky married his high school sweetheart, Sharon, they were married 42 years and raised 3 children. Ricky received his MBA in 2006 while working and raising 3 kids. After moving to California for his job he discovered his love for cycling. He spent weekend mornings riding many miles while enjoying the California views of mountains and beaches. He signed up for many bike rides, including a 100 mile ride to San Diego. Ricky and Sharon shared many fun events with great friends, like Music Under the Stars and Sunset Serenades. Ricky also loved his career and colleagues. Although his children were spread out across the U.S., he made sure everyone came together for vacations as family was very important to him.
