It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Robert “Steve” Muccillo.
Born on the first of November(All Saints Day), 1937, Steve passed in his 86th year on March 14, 2024. He was predeceased by his mother Christina and father Vincent, and his two brothers Vincent & Raymond.
Steve proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Cold War. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Steve and his brothers started Western Scale in the early 1960's and carried his entrepreneurial spirit until his passing.
Steve is survived by his four children, Christine (Tina), Steven Jr, Maria, and Dean; his two granddaughters, Lauren Brame, and Mackenzie Miller; his sisters Kay Muccillo Greco and Beth Muccillo; along with numerous cousins, nieces & nephews.
Steve was a gentleman who enjoyed dancing and music and was the epitome of Cool to the very end. However, his great passion was the game of Golf. Steve utilized the game to coach and mentor people both on and off the course. Anyone who played a round of golf with Steve was always left better for the experience.
Steve will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather and a welcomed member of any community he was a part of. His smiling face and charismatic demeanor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
