Russell Howard Newman

Russell "Rusty" Newman age 87, passed away on May 18, 2017 after a short illness. Born February 12, 1930 in Pontiac, Michigan to Don and Delma Newman. He graduated from Pontiac High School in 1948. In 1952, he married Elaine, who would be his sweetheart for life. He moved his family to Orange, California in 1962 and would remain until he entered heaven. For over 30 years he worked and then retired from the Southern California Gas Company. He enjoyed traveling, reading the newspaper, crossword puzzles and golfing. His sense of humor and kind spirit will be missed. The father of four, will be greatly missed by daughters, Gale Hernandez (Al), Kathy Webster (Dennis), son Kyle (Kandi), numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and sister Barbara. Preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, son, Andy, parents, brothers Bob, Al, Bill & George.
