Salvador "Sal" Chaidez, 95, died peacefully on November 4 in San Clemente.
His ashes will be buried next to his wife's ashes in Montana.
Born in Los Angeles, he was a retired circulation manager for the Excelsior Newspaper.
He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend.
Survived by daughters, Evelyn "Lyn" Chaidez, Diane (Don) Lundsten, son, Kevin (Terri) Chaidez, brother-in-law Alfred Castro, sister-in-law, Sylvia Villagraña, grandchildren, Ruben Lundsten, Myhun, Christine, Curtis and Grace Chaidez, great grandchild, Zion Chaidez, nieces, nephews and cousins.
