It is with heavy hearts we share the passing of Victor "Vic" Chapa, who left us on December 19, 2024.
Vic was the eldest son of Frances Reyes Chapa and Victor Chapa Sr. born in Texas on September 1, 1947. He was the oldest of seven brothers and sisters. He was the father of two beloved children Carla Rae Chapa and Victor Chapa. Grandfather to Gavin, Valentine, and Athena. Beloved partner to Susan Williams and a fast friend to Kate Chapa.
Vic trusted in God finding strength and purpose in his faith. Having served in the U. S. Navy he was a proud and devoted patriot and fully supported the military.
He was an accomplished leader in the staffing industry with two successful businesses. His most recent venture was as a cherished member of the Sapphire Healthcare AI family, where he served with distinction as the Chief Operating Officer. He departed this world, leaving behind an extraordinary legacy of leadership and compassion.
Known to colleagues and friends alike for his unwavering loyalty, dedication, and kindness, Vic's relentless drive helped propel this team to new heights and fundamentally shaped the company's mission and direction. His passion for Sapphire's mission to improve healthcare set a standard of excellence that they remain committed to uphold.
Your presence, Vic, will always be felt in the hearts of your family and in the memories of all those you touched along the way. We are sure you will continue to communicate with us in many unexpected and impactful ways.
With deep sadness and gratitude for having known him; we wish him “Fair winds and following seas”.
