Born: January 21, 1977 (Apple Valley, CA) Passed: August 18, 2018 (Costa Mesa, CA) Graduated from Estancia High School in 1995. Fathered his first child; Kaiden Jay Kahkosko on September 7, 2004. Fathered his second child; Sierra Presley Kahkosko on December 14, 2010. Officially married the love of his life, Christina Braun on April 19, 2018. Wesley Ronnie Kahkosko was brought into this world on January 21, 1977 and was granted his angel wings on August 18, 2018 at 8:38 am. His final days were spent in his house surrounded by friends and family that Wes had touched in a variety of ways throughout his 41 years spent here on Earth. Wess life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His constant jokes, loud laugh and presence in a room brought joy (and some playful grief) to all friends and family that he touched. Wes enjoyed nothing more in life than being a husband and father to his children. He also enjoyed talking to family, making money, spending money, sports, cars and music. Although he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer on October 8, 2015, Wes endured the loss of Phil Simco, "Ampa," a colectomy, over 90 rounds of chemo, two radiation surgeries, immunotherapy and stem cell treatments to battle this ugly disease for 1,045 days. Throughout his entire fight, Wes continued to coach his sons basketball team, attend his daughters softball games, father his children and be a friend to all (minus referees and umpires). Wesley is survived by his parents, Ronnie Kahkosko and Pauline Simco; wife Christina Kahkosko; son, Kaiden Jay Kahkosko; daughter, Sierra Presley Kahkosko, brothers, Jason Simco, Ryan Kahkosko, and sister, Tessa Kahkosko. The service will be held on Friday, 8/31/18 at 4:30pm at Mariners Church in Irvine (In the Chapel): 5001 Newport Coast Dr, Irvine, CA 92603. Following the service, the reception will be held at his home which is what Wes would have wanted. Wes just wanted to be with family and friends and what better way than to have this in his own home. The address for the reception is: 1889 Swan Cir, Costa Mesa, CA 92626. Funeral Home: Pacific Cremation Society 22772 Centre Drive, Suite 130 Lake Forest, CA 92630
