The following checklist will help you create your personalized plan.

Ways to Plan Ahead:

 

General

  • Gather personal information for your obituary
  • Make note of any specific instructions for your services and final disposition

Cremation Service

  • Select cremation container
  • Select from urn and keepsake options
  • Consider any customs, traditions, or religious rites that are important to you and your family
  • Select the clothing you would like to be dressed in
  • Select music or text you would like played or read aloud

Participants

  • Select a clergy member, celebrant, family member or friend to preside over the service
  • Ask friends or family members to give a eulogy or do a reading

Final Disposition

  • Scatter at sea
  • Retain at a residence
  • Burial at a cemetery
